“Our company is a true family company. My grandfather bought an area of land in Wateringen from his father in 1938 and started growing vegetables in a cold frame. The company gradually expanded to become a modern company in the 1980s. His daughter Joke - my mother - took over the company together with my father, Cor Boeters, which is when the name Boeters appeared in the company name. ​

As the Wateringen site was purchased for housing, my parents needed to find a new location, and they relocated to Bleiswijk in 2014. I took over from them not long afterwards, but my parents still lend a helping hand in the company.”​
