“I have been a grower for 40 years and the company has passed from father to son. I’m someone with green fingers. I have no desire to own a big company. I prefer using old-fashioned growing methods to achieve the best performance. Therefore, I'm not likely to change varieties in a hurry. You do build up a certain expertise, which you essentially lose the moment you switch varieties. I think it's great that I can take advantage of the experience I've already gained with this variety.”
